- I am a middle school librarian in a small West Texas town - actually where I grew up and have lived most of my life! I have taught for 26 years - most of which were spent teaching reading - and continue my career now in the library and pursuing my library science degree through the University of North Texas. Actually, this blog began as a requirement for one of my UNT classes, but one I plan to continue. Youth and their self-concept, well-being and education are passions. I truly enjoy the Jr. High age students. I love spending time with my family and am blessed by the relationships I share with them.
Hahaha. I HAVE been "booking" time to read. My most recent fav. was The Compound by Bodeen. It is one of my new favorites and will be one that I create a book club for. Perhaps we can share resources on that one and the one you are creating for Code Orange. :)

PPS. I hope your summer has been fun! I didn't get much reading done while I was in NYC but I did find a few things worth "sinking my teeth" into. :D
